Who: Allen and whoever is at the house Status: open Where: The house that the DGM folks (and Four) are living When: BACKDATED to Week 32 day 3 sorry guys Rating: Probably not higher than PG Summary: Allen returns "home."
It had kind of become some sort of "tradition" for them to always go to Himorogi and pick each other up, when they arrived. But, apparently, this time Allen decided to come back on his own. That was all fine and good, of course! Just a bit unusual.
But, well, change was good? Or something.
Anyway, Lavi was definitely there to meet him when he came back. He stepped out of the front door, and waved. "Heyyyy."
Allen was only sort of aware that it was a thing for them all to come get him. He figured since they had last time, he didn't want to trouble them all with it this time around, so he just...went home.
He hadn't been expecting a greeting right away, and blinked in surprise. But of course, he smiled, and waved in return.
"Hey. Sorry, I guess it's been awhile, hasn't it?"
Of course that was why. If Lavi was actually sure of it and could read Allen's mind, then he would say that was ridiculous and it really wasn't a big deal either way. But whatever.
"It has~ But it's not your fault, so no need t'go apologising."
Lenalee was in the kitchen when she heard the door open. She had thought that if they weren't going to greet Allen in Himorogi, there should at least be food prepared for when he arrived. Nothing too extravagant; she hadn't had much time to prepare, so Lenalee opted to go with quantity over quality, given Allen's usual appetite. Buttered noodles, roast chicken, a salad-- enough to feed half the household for a normal meal.
After setting the table, she poked her head out the door to see if Allen was on his way or not. His old room had been right next to the kitchen, so there was a good chance that he would be, whether he was headed for the actual kitchen or not.
