"...it's not rude."

The words were softly spoken before her eyes narrowed and she glared rather petulantly up at the man, then repeated louder, "It's not rude. This world, like Oz's world, is full of strange people, so I don't use names. Not unless the person is my friend, but... the only memory I had was the name 'Alice' so I'm giving you the privilege of calling me Alice!"

She paused and glanced away, a slight scowl gracing her features at that. "But maybe you should just call me B. Rabbit, since titles are so important to you. And you can keep your stupid story too!"

Arms crossed across her chest and glower locked firmly in place, she seemingly ignored his inspection of the fruit. However, once he leaned down and offered it out to her... well, curiosity definitely got the better of her.

She, too, leaned in, until her nose hovered right over the fruit and gave it a cautious sniff before cutting her gaze up, violet eyes wide. "What's this? Can I eat it, blondie-Niko? Is it savory or sweet?"

That was her brand of compromise, much like with Rin. He could take it or leave it.

"Oh, well I don't like bitter things, so I'll just give that part back to you, okay?"

She flashed him a winsome smile at that, then didn't even bother with the peel - she just lifted the dark fruit to her lips and took a great big bite. She was surprised at the juicy-sweet taste that exploded over her tongue. Her eyes widened as she chewed, right before she gave a happy little spin-step then bounced up on the balls of her feet to give him a guileless look of adoration.

"Hey! Hey! These are really yummy! If I give you an extra thing of bread, can I have another one, and a story? Pleeeease~"
