A random side streetarmfulofbratsJuly 11 2011, 18:03:14 UTC
[The well-muscled blond seems to have gotten comfortable in the yukata, and seems perfectly comfortable as well with the two sword he carries, now. He moves with purpose, taking one turn after another, as if heading for some set destination.
Of course, he doesn't really know where he's going, but he's worldly enough to know that looking so is an important thing. There's really nothing he can do to blend in, in this world, towering over the heads of so many of the citizens and standing out with his bright blond locks, pale skin, blue eyes.
There's nothing he can do either about the eyes that follow him and his companion, short of violence, which he is trying to avoid.
He'll just take a step closer to the boy at his side, as it seems that perhaps there are a few strangers following them.]

[He must be getting old. Is what he's thinking as he eyes the group of men leering and cackling among themselves.]
You really did a number on our guys. Breaking their swords and then making them run off without their clothes.
[A yawn from Break. Honestly why did they have to pick the store he was enjoying his desserts in. Of course he'd wipe the floor with them for getting in the way.]
Your *guys* were more bark than bite. I wonder if you are any better.
[And he taps his cane once to unclasp the latch holding his blade inside the wooden sheath. As loathe was he was to admit it, this would require a bit more effort than usual. What an annoying strategy of the weak to use on him.]

[When he notices the crowd, at first Vincent simply slides closer to see what is happening, trying to stay out of sight himself. It's hard to stay out of trouble in a place where everything about him stands out, and traditional clothing doesn't get anywhere toward hiding everything else about him.
And then... he sees who is at the center of the entire mess.
And his eyes widen.
This. This... this is far too amusing. He could, of course, simply leave Break alone to deal with the situation, but it would make him feel far more superior to involve himself and help the whole situation along.
So he wades through the crowd, managing to set himself up near the other man, the sword he was supplied in this world unsheathed.]
Well, you seem to be having a wonderful time, Mr. Mad Hatter.
[Fruit Stand, open to anyone]monstersbigbroJuly 12 2011, 17:50:19 UTC
[Why exactly is Touya walking back and forth between a stand and a building, helping someone set up their fruit cart for the day?
He wonders that too.
But somehow he'd seen the little old woman struggling with the boxes of produce, and he'd just... walked over and taken one.
And suddenly here he was, his arms slipped out of the sleeves of his yukata, bare back glinting in the sunlight, moving crates around as if it were somehow his job to do so.
Little Open Air Sake House new the Kabuki Theater (For Lavi)pinktintedgamonJuly 11 2011, 23:45:20 UTC
[Raikou was, in a word, exhausted. In every sense of the word. Which was why he was sitting here, in a sake house, as Gau wandered the entertainment houses looking for something for them to watch, with a book of Confucian philosophy open before him though he was only partially reading it.
A larger part of his awareness was split between the sake before him and the wary glances at his hair, of all things.
The pink dye that he preferred wasn't much better than his natural blond would have been, all things considered, but it didn't make it any more comforting, getting all of the suspicious stares.
Another covert glance around him and a sigh as he lifted the little cup to his lips before making another attempt to focus on the book before him.]
[Well, Raikou might be happy to hear he's not the only one, soon enough. Lavi has certainly not had the best past few days, or probably more like weeks, and he's getting really, really tired of having all these emotions shifting and turning and tearing, because nothing gets to settle properly before something new comes to kick it all up.
He notices the familiar pink hair when he passes a sake house, and freezes up. Ah... Raikou. Thinking back, they have probably been through just about the same lately, right? In different order and amount, probably, but still.
And Raikou has always been good to talk to.
So it's with that in mind that Lavi walks up to sit down next to Raikou. A drink doesn't sound too bad ither.]
[The sound of a familiar - not to mention friendly - voice has Raikou glancing up with a smile. He shuts the book and sets it down in front of him with a snap, then leans over just enough to press his shoulder to Lavi's.]
Hm, fancy that.
[And then a small smile as his eyes cut to the opening, looking for others.]
Here alone? I had thought with Allen-kun's return...
