[Leo fidgeted anxiously for a moment with the scissors, before glancing at Elliot, sighing, and handing them over. He had a laundry list of uncertainties however, his word was good. Nothing

[Leo's fingers clenched, flinching slightly when he heard the scissors cut through. He just dared to open an eye and look through the hole in his once perfect curtain of hair, at Elliot, and the hair in his hand.]

It'll grow back.

[Leo smiled, albeit a little weakly.]

I hope you're not suggesting I keep a collection of hair shavings.

[Sure there was significance to the action, however, it would be silly keeping something like that. Or perhaps simply cheesy.]

I didn't mean all of it! Just this first bit.

He didn't think it would be silly at all, personally. Then again, if anyone was cheesy or silly in that way between the two of them, it would be him.

But if Leo wasn't going to keep it... then he probably would.]

[Leo shook his head. He didn't need the reminder.

He imagined Elliot would just throw it out. Because if he didn't need it, he certainly didn't think it would hold meaning for anyone else.

Or so he thought.]

[Well then, keeping it for himself it is. He shrugged and put the hair down on the bed as he grabbed more of Leo's fringe.]

[And, after a moment of making sure it would be about the same length lost, cut that off too.]

[Leo looked then to see how Elliot was doing and smiled a little when he saw that the cuts were just about the same length.

Elliot was doing a great job.

He tried to focus on that, instead of the awful amount of light.

I guess that's what happens when you spend so long behind a curtain of dark hair.]
