[After Iskierka dropped them off, Rin walked the streets in quick steps, Elliot behind her, to reach the agreed point where she would gather with the natives; those that had lost as she had.
Once the place was just around the corner, she turned to Elliot.]
Wait here for a moment, yes? I'll greet them, first. It won't take long.
[Elliot can't say he's all so happy about those words, but neither can he find much reason to protest them. Believe it or not, he is aware that he's not the greatest to deal with touchy situations... well, yet. He'll have to be, eventually, but...
That will come with time or something, won't it? Well, that, and... He knows he has a temper to work on. Hrm. Hrm. Details.
It wouldn't be a good idea to start an argument here because then he would start yelling eventually and he's not so stupid as to let that happen now. This situation is crucial, several lives are at stake here. So even if he scowls, looking as displeased as he is, he nods. Fine, he'll be a good boy and stay. Especially since these people are actually letting him join, then he might as well listen.
It's better than getting told to let others deal with it completely. Much better. He does appreciate that.]
[It's not like she doesn't notice the scowl, but time is crucial here. So she just gives him an encouraging smile.]
Thanks.
[And off she goes, around said corner, wrapping her scarf tightly around her head. Because, while she has revealed to those she spoke to that she's not a native, they might've brought others, who might be more skeptical or even scared.
And that just won't do. That was, after all, the reason sheÄs leaving Elliot behind.
So she steps out, makes herself known, is welcomed and goes through the plan of action with the people present. All goes according to plan, so far.
She excuses herself and goes back to call Elliot forth.]
