Perhaps mostly because this is a distraction from the events of last night. From his own dreams, and hers, and the possibilities raised. This is actually a rather simple situation, relatively speaking. Zombies are uncomplicated, and easier to handle than relationships and futures and children.]

Chrome can tell from the appearance of the other two and their evident uncertainty that it may eventually come to them having to split into different groups. Which may or may not be a good idea. Safety in numbers suggests they ought to stick together, exactly like this.
But, on the other hand, it's not as if they are alone in this world with no other allies to consider. She is theoretically supposed to be helping to guard Jessica; that's the job description, but she was pledged to be Tsuna's Mist Guardian long before that. Ideally, she can kill two birds with one stone (so to speak) for now.
Ah, and there, she thinks she sees him. Chrome walks more briskly, eager to re-unite with Boss -- so much so that not even her misgivings about Tsuna and Mukuro-sama are able to slow down her enthusiasm in any significant respect. He cheerfully shoves a muttering woman out of the way as he follows after Chrome. He isn't altogether sure how he feels about her palpable relief at seeing her other employer - there is something a tiny bit annoying about her faith in him. But he cannot rightly complain about anything that improves her mood, can he - and so his smile today is marginally less hateful than usual.]
