[ Hibari wakes with a start once his eyes close in the dream, can feel the bead of sweat rolling down along his spine. It's too hot there, the actual temperature outside and how he feels beneath the blankets. He kicks them off, presses a palm to his forehead and closes his eyes. Vivid memories of what had just happened flicker behind his eyes, and he forces them open again. Dreams like that were meant for adolescent teens who were high on newly made hormones. Not for grown men who had shut themselves off to that aspect of their bodies unless he otherwise chose to access it.

He lays back down, turns and reaches for- air, recalling the conversation they had on their way to the city. Hibari faintly remembers informing Fran that yes they were getting a two bedroom. Maybe it was for the best, considering what he just woke up from. Besides that, there was no need to encourage Fran's clinging tendencies, or whatever the hell he was letting himself get into with him. Running a hand through his hair with a sigh, he soon realizes just how dry

[Fran doesn't awake as he normally does. No, this time his breathing is a bit more labored than it should be and a bit of confusion is evident even through his default mask. Almost out of habit his hand goes straight for his Hitomi, just a bit more rushed than normal. He stares at it, glad for the poor quality, but is a little confused over it. Why wasn't it clear? Part of him, deep deep down, almost regrets it wasn't recorded properly. He wouldn't have minded rewatching something like that, despite knowing how unhealthy it was.

He shakes himself out of his haze, getting his mind back in order the best he can, while trying to figure out the one thing that seems to be bugging him the most. He can remember, feel things that Hibari-san was feeling too. Things that in all actuality surprised even Fran himself when he thinks about it. He has been keeping those sorts of things to himself, so he isn't so thrown off by that aspect of the dream at least. But everything else

[ He hears Fran long before he sees him. In retrospect, he probably could have made it back to his room before Fran had actually made it out of his own, but there was little point in that. There would have been a knock at his door instead of a slightly drowsy inquiry in the kitchen. Hibari exhales slowly, opens his eyes but doesn't move from what probably appears to be a rather uncomfortable position; instead, he blinks a few times, setting down the glass with the water he's neglected to drink. It's another moment before he glances over at Fran

[A strange... Well. That's enough to cause Fran's head to tilt slightly to the side in consideration. Neither of them has been around long enough to know exactly what's capable of happening in this world but Fran thinks he's starting to get an idea.

Contrary to popular belief, he did have the capacity to be just as much of a genius as Belphegor. He just tends not to use it very often. But this is one of those rare exceptions where he puts his mind to work and try to figure out if there can be any connections.

If he remembers correctly, he first heard Hibari wake up just around the same time. The only thing on his Hitomi had been that one, the dream did have a good focus on...]

[He walks over to fetch his own glass of water, taking a few sips of it before setting it down and blinking up at Hibari with that same calm emotionless expression as always.]
