[Overall, Elliot isn't very fond of responding to people that don't give him much of a reason to. Still, he is kind of some sort of co-owner of the Mizusato ryokan, so he generally always looks to see if anyone offers it or not (since Touya normally does), and decides whether to respond or not from what others say.
