"Don't believe a word of it, but fine, fine. Do whatever you want. Don't listen to the guy with experience."
Harry was kidding. Mostly. He was really torn about what to do here. Technically he should just leave things alone. He doesn't know a lot about the situation or about this kid. The problem is that if this being is anything like the ones he knows, leaving the kid alone is not a good idea.
For a moment, he could only wonder how fairies could even exist, but when thinking about the Shinrabanshou... Even if she wasn't a fairy, maybe the idea that they existed wasn't exactly far-fetched.
Who happened to make his life more hell than pleasant most of the time, but that was Lea. It certainly gave him experience with how to deal with the conniving lot that were the faerie courts. Unfortunately he was still in debt to them too.
Script, trickling down and all around like the fucking Matrix. It's everywhere, it's oppressive, heavy, suffocating. He knows this feeling because he's felt it before, in a basement of a prep school in Kouga. Something was unleashed there, and its aura is unmistakable. This could only mean-
"Shinrabanshou!?"
Yukimi stumbles forward, pushing against the terrible pressure of a force unimaginably vast and so consuming it makes every limb of his body feel like dead weight. He squints, and in the whirling mess of ink and ivy he can see the small figure of a boy. He seems to be shouting something, but it's hard to hear in the hissing chaos that surrounds him. Yukimi reaches out with his hand, though it's clear he can't do much from this distance.
To Miharu, despite the noise, that voice rings out quite loudly. It startles him, a lot, and for a moment he almost turns his focus away completely from Shinrabanshou, but he catches himself because that is bad when she's obviously angry. It's bad in general, but especially now.
So even as he stumbles in turning towards the voice, he keeps an eye on her. How can Yukimi possibly-- But he is.
There's a figure somewhere in that falling script. She looks weirdly familiar, with that long silvery hair and eerie eyes that look distinctly not human. Who is that? The so-called 'fairy' Miharu has spoken of before? What is she doing here?
Here on her own accord, or perhaps called forth by Miharu himself? It's too dangerous to do it, Miharu couldn't possibly be so foolish, whatever his reasons might be. Yukimi staggers ahead and stops several meters away somewhere behind the boy.
"What's going on? You...you haven't-" summoned her, have you?

He says it completely without doubt. He means it, and he'll stick to it. But he'll keep it to himself, all to himself.
Always.

And he doesn't fall.
So, carefully, he moves further back, towards Yukimi, as he eyes Shinrabanshou. Ah...
"I don't know," he says, shaking his head. "I don't know."
