[The video is slightly fuzzy and staticy, which would give away who it belonged to if people had been paying attention before. Harry is standing in the summoning shop dressed in what he considers to be nice clothes and without his jacket. The endless aisle of stuff is partially revealed behind him as he stands there grinning.]

A few weeks have passed already since Yukimi's arrival, and he's not even a little closer to figuring out how to get back home. It doesn't really help that half the guys don't even want to go home, and the other half drive him up the wall on a daily basis with their kid-brains and whatever juvenile logic (or lack thereof) they exhibit with them.
He's curious where the man obtained these things, and so he answers back with a jovial smirk-]
I vote for grumpet. Sounds more menacing.

[Harry just grins at Yukimi, still thoroughly amused by the little gun thing. You don't get something so wildly strange as that every day, even when you dealt with the supernatural all the time.]
I'm Harry Dresden. You are?

[He nods and gives him a friendly smile.]
I'm Yukimi. [He omits his first name, not because he's being secretive or anything, but more out of habit. It sounds too formal to rattle off in full, and in any case, it's a bit of a mouthful to foreign ears.]
You been around a while?

[Harry grinned at set the grumpet down on the side table. He'd put it back on the shelf a little bit later.]
Nope. I'm new here.

[Yukito wasn't one to encourage violence, but this... one couldn't be sure if it was truly as deadly as an ordinary gun. It was, on close inspection, rather interesting, not the sort of hybrid Yukito would have expected. Perhaps it wasn't meant to kill at all. Who could tell without attempting to use it? He'd heard about the summoning shop, but he'd yet to visit it himself. But Touya had been there, so he'd heard stories at least.]
I wonder what sort of world would create something like that. And why.
[He chuckles softly. Because it seems more silly then menacing. If it was a weapon, he wondered why else it would be given such a comical design. Then again, perhaps looks were deceiving.]

[Harry is actually rather interested in figuring out what the grumpet does too, but he doesn't really want to try it out without some idea of what's going to happen. He would really rather not blow his ear drums out if at all possible.]

[After all, necessity and desire were the most urgent reasons for invention, but without that he wondered how many things and what kind of things were created simply to see if it could be done.]

[Someone might think the grumpet was really useful, but that someone wasn't Harry. At least, outside of an entertainment value.]

[ Hell, she can't say she's ever seen anything quite like it. She'll stick to Burafuma, thank you. ]
I've never been there, though. How pricey?
Reply
And speaking of prices, it depends on what you want.

I think in the hands of anyone it'd be priceless. Got a few people I'd like to see hang onto that thing. What about you?
Mm... do you think what they charge is worth it, is the real question.
Reply
Yeah, if I knew for sure it couldn't actually do anything.
Some things are, some things aren't. I, personally, don't care enough about bath products to pay more than a clearance price for them at home. I can easily deal with what's here. Now if I really need something that's more important, that's another story.

[Matt's been distracted for the last little while by... well, he guesses he'd have to call it family matters. So many new people he hasn't talked to yet. He's falling down on the job of being FAQ provider.]

[Yes, he knows there's no such thing. Rule of funny, shut up.
Then he grins.]
Unless you had the plus-two earplugs of deafening.

Would these earplugs of deafening allow me to at least hear a little bit? I wouldn't want to miss the fun. I might just want to go with the one and a half.
