[The video flicks to life as its owner spins it around, examining the engraved letters on the back.] Hitomi?
[He shakes his head rotating it back around, not even noticing that it is recording at first. But the device is the least of his worries when surrounded by such beauty. Though considering what happened last time the setting changed he

[The young man is standing in what looks like a kitchen, continuing to cut up piece of fruit as he talks. He doesn't look horribly happy about the job, or about talking to the stranger.]
I'm not really sure who all those people are, but I can tell you that you're in a world called Kannagara, and unless that 'they' that you're talking about are Shinto gods, you're blaming the wrong folks.

Shinto gods? Is that so? I must say I find that surprising. [And offensive. To think Morgance and the others, even Arawn, would masquerade as the gods of another religion is angering, even if he doesn’t show it.]

[Touya can't help but smirk at that. Because it seems a rather calm way to put it, really.]
And no, I don't know where this Attolo place is, but we're not there. You've been brought to a world called Kannagara, and I'm afraid there doesn't seem to be a way out. But I can offer you a place to stay, if that helps.
[There, he's very helpful, see? If not exactly... nice.]

[He just shakes his head, shrugging slightly. This was ridiculous but, for the time being he may as well play along. After all the last time things had changed everything about the world had changed and since he wasn't entirely sure where Fuar would fall in this place until things went back to normal he would need somewhere to stay.]
A place to stay would certainly be appreciated, at least until I can find my own.

Her face is calm, open, an ever-so-slight smile on her lips.]
Ah... I'm sorry? Hello? It would appear you are not in the same place you were before. [Pause.] I mean, really not the same place.
[A w k w a r d. Is she getting out of practice?]

How so, if you'll fill me in?

I'm afraid it won't make much sense... and I doubt you'd believe me, whatever they've got you thinking about this place.

Someone Raikou has never lain eyes on is asking for him and Gau.
Right then.
And since this guy doesn't exactly smack of one of Hattori's men - or one of the Kasa subordinates - he'll just... play along. At least for now.
So here, have a friendly smile and sharp eyes watching you, Kira.]
The world may have changed but we're quite ourselves. Are you sure you know where you are though?

So perhaps he was one of the few that had remained the same then. It was one thing when it was people he didn't know not recognizing him but when it was a friend, someone he'd come to trust giving him that look, however innocent the words might've been, it was more hurtful than he'd have expected.]
I am on the island of Atollo, however changed it may appear at first glance. The rulers are quite crafty at times... as you well know Shimizu-san

[And here the smile fades, because it's clear this person has no clue where he actually is. Of course, that still doesn't explain how he knows Raikou or Gau, but one way to find out.]
Unfortunately, this place is not 'Atollo'. You are currently in Himorogi, a sacred grove in the land called Kannagara, and you my friend, have been pulled here from there.

For a moment he just stares at the device, trying to decide which is more likely that strange gods had yanked him out of his world only to have him yanked out of their world by gods more familiar to him... or if this was just another of the island's tricks.
They both sounded absolutely absurd but he had to admit that Raikou's insistence about where he truly was held a lot more weight than anything he'd heard from the others.]
I find it difficult to believe that. The entirety of the island of Atollo changed before, people forgot themselves completely, believed themselves to be part of that world...
The fact that you seem to be so suspicious of me makes me rather certain that you are affected by one such curse.

That's.
Who is this person?
Gau's pretty sure that he's never seen him, and yet his name... and Raikou's... and then that response from Raikou... so... is there something he's missing? Or is his partner just playing long?
The young man stares at the screen for a long moment, then shrugs and clicks the video on, offers a smile.]
I'm pretty sure I'm still me!
[He's at the bakery, and seems to have been caught in the process of mixing up some form of batter, still working as he speaks, the Hitomi now propped up on the counter.]
Are you all right?
Reply
Ah, Meguro-san! Yes I'm quite alright, just trying to get my bearings.
[He smiles a little, eying the batter the younger man is mixing up curiously. If Raikou was acting strangely than perhaps this event would be a good time for the two of them to spend a day cooking and baking like they'd discussed.]
That wouldn't happen to be that vanilla strawberry cake you were telling me about, would it?
Reply
[How this stranger knows this, he doesn't know. But Gau won't let on about that, not quite yet. So he simply offers his best smile, nods enthusiastically.]
Would you like to come have some? You'll need to check he map on that device in your hands, find a place called Mizusato.
[Now if he can somehow get around revealing that he doesn't know the person's name, he might be okay?]
Reply
[He wonders for a moment how the teen knows what they're calling these cities or how he knows there's a map on the new device. But if Raikou is behaving oddly then certainly he'd have told Gau a few things. Never mind that the teen is doubtlessly more familiar with technology than he is.]
Mizusato? Is that what they're calling Muir for now?
I'll be there shortly.

But this 'new face' seems to know Raikou and Gau... which makes Ginko curious. He isn't worried about their safety, but if this is someone from their world, that makes him worth keeping an eye on.]
I don't know most of the people who you named, but Raikou-san and Gau-kun are fine. [A curious tilt of his head as he considers adding to that, but in the end settles simply on,] Welcome to Kannagara.
Reply
Yes... thank you, I suppose.
[He blinked down at the device, realizing belatedly that this was yet another familiar face. Though it had only been temporary the man had been employed at the Oasis for a bit. The more people he saw that he recognized the more certain it made him that this was simply another of Arawn's tricks.]
I don't suppose you remember anything about Atollo do you?
Reply
But the following question causes his eyebrows to go up, slightly.]
Atollo... no, I don't. Should I? [He's positive he shouldn't. He knows he's never heard of anything by that name.]
Reply
[He just shakes his head dismissively. By this point he's pretty much given up on finding anyone that actually remembers what all is going on. Such is life here... Frustrating though it may be.]
So... may I ask how long you've been here?
