[The Hitomi remains on the floor and Sakura ignores it completely, pacing back and forth and trying to decide if she should attempt to delete it or something.
But then... it sounded kind of lost. And maybe a little scared...]

[Maybe the guy is lost. And Sakura knows what it feels like to be lost. And her answer comes through about a good twenty minutes after she sees the feed and she puts on her brave face.]

[Leatherhead had wandered away from the giant tree, and was moving on all fours so that his large form wasn't so easily spotted on the grassy plain. He is looking for a river, or lake that he could disappear into when his Hitomi device rings again. He crouches down and pulls it off of his belt.]
Hello
[He tries to sound reassuring, as to not upset or scare the girl any further.]
Yes, I am lost. I do not know where I am, or why I am here. Can you please enlighten me?

[Well Yamamoto will be damned. He didn't believe the unicorn but now apparently Godzilla has made its way in to Kannagara. The gods, they are quite amazing aren't they? Yamamoto is laughing. Laughing before he replies and laughing like he means it. Because how is this not cool?
Which tapers off to bitterness because this is the kind of thing that'd have his best friends causing a riot. An excited riot, rather. And those friends are gone.]
Loud and clear, big guy!
[He answers, once the laughter dies down because hey, hey it's rude to laugh at someone, isn't it?]
[Now see, what a personable creature and with quite an impressive name. Yamamoto wonders who named this guy like that but figures it probably doesn't matter anyway.]
I'm Yamamoto. Also a forced-resident of Kannagara. Looks like you're invited to the party~
[Leatherhead finds himself a little intimidated by the glare you big bully and tries to reply as courteously as he can.]
No, my name is Leatherhead. I hail from New York City, dimension Third Earth.
[He was not a demon, not in a mythical sense anyway. He did not blame these humans for becoming alarmed. He would be too if all you could really see of him on the Hitomi device was his teeth.]
[Absolutely. Kanda continues eyeing the... creature suspiciously, but he doesn't look just as murderous now. Akuma don't usually have names, and they often don't hide their identity once asked - maybe it's a robot thing - but of course he's not completely convinced yet.]
Never heard of that place.
[Sorry, NY wasn't really established back at his times. Or, well, maybe it was but he's rather poorly educated, anyway.]
[The young man is at the moment perched on a tree limb, long bare legs hanging from the limb, athletic form barely dressed in gym shorts and a t-shirt.
The Hitomi seems to be propped against the tree, and catches him sort of sideways.]
Did you escape from a movie set or something? That costume must be hot.
[Yes, it must be a costume. Let's ignore all evidence to the contrary.]
[Leatherhead squints a little at the human. To him, all humans sometimes end up looking alike. Which was funny, because he could tell his Utrom family apart without a problem, and to most creatures Utroms all looked like pink blobs with tentacles.]
I do not understand your question.
[His large teeth scissors past the hitomi as he speaks, making it very clear that it wasn't a costume.]

[Ginko is once again sitting under a tree, damp hair still dripping occasionally, taking a break from walking around in the rain. It's easy enough to tune out the strange singing that he's been hearing lately--he's not sure what it is, but since it doesn't appear to be hurting him, he's willing to let it lie--and listen to the sound of humans instead.
Or... whatever this creature happens to be. But it sounds intelligent. It recognizes the Hitomi as a communications device; it must be another person, pulled from his or her (or whatever) world, and dumped here by the Gods.
It's easy enough to think of this creature as an Oniko, or a close equivalent. So Ginko's voice is relaxed when he replies.]
I can hear you.
You're in a place called Kannagara; the Gods that rule this place brought you here.
'Gods' is what they call themselves. They even claim names I'm familiar with.
But if it bothers you to think of them that way, then think of them as powerful beings that basically have control over our lives.
[He doesn't care which, really. As long as this person is aware that there really are such beings... not understanding that could lead to trouble for--the voice sounds masculine--him down the line.]

Hello, my name is Leatherhead, who are you?
[Leatherhead believes in good manners, it made it slightly less likely to have a human frightened of you.]

I guess so, though I still do not understand why.

[Excuse him while he stares.]
[And stares some more.]

[Have a very judging glare on the screen. A rather predatory one at that, and locked on you.]
Are you Akuma?

Well. This is... unexpected.
It's not a ghost, or any kind of spirit that he can think of, at least... not that Touya can tell.
Possessed, perhaps? But it hardly seems like it.
And he has been told that people from various worlds come here, has talked to others, just a little. So. So.
It must be real?]

N-never mind that.
[Well, what the hell does one say to a talking crocodile? Or alligator, whichever it is?]
W-welcome to Kannagara.

Gods? I don't believe in Gods.
[The Utroms only believed in science. There was no room for make believe idols]
