[Lenalee swallows. It is rare for her to use voice only like this, but while she has mostly gotten her voice under control, her face is another story. Video won't do right now.]

[Well, that is unexpected. So is Lenalee hiding her face, he supposes, but he's known her for long enough to notice that slight change in her voice still, no matter how well she's trying to control it.]

[The overall tone of the message does not instill a whole lot of confidence in Dre and his shoulders slump a bit, having a sinking feeling about what things this could be about.

He knows. He does. There are...people...who aren't coming back..and things that are going to be changing. But he's a kid. And for once he wished that this world would just stop and treat him like one if only long enough for him to catch his breath before the next blow.

But he has to grow up. He knows that. So, tying his sneakers he pushes himself up and makes his way outside.]

[Lavi doesn't bother replying as he hears the message because there's no need, just heads straight for the courtyard. He doesn't like the tone of Lenalee's voice, he doesn't like it at all, and he has a feeling this might be a rather uncomfortable talk, whatever it is.

But, well, at least it's not just the two of them so less uncomfortable than it could be, at least...]
