[Fai had every intention of ignoring this video - this wasn't the first variation of the princesses brother that he'd seen and if he had his way, it wouldn't be the last.

So really, there was no reason to get involved with this one.

Until...

He sees another version of Sakura respond to him. Her magic, now that he focused on it, was there, yet... not.

An echo of the girl he's been traveling with, strong in her own right though.

She'd be a good enough replacement for the princess, if nothing else...

[ After the past few days, some good news comes as a surprise. This is something that Doug can't help feeling relieved to see, the moment he realizes that this new arrival and Sakura seem to be close. Family? He watches their exchange only long enough to confirm that and to check if someone has already offered the man an explanation, then leaves it.

But this seems to be a particularly dangerous time to have arrived here. Hopefully they'll both be safe. ]
