[Oh it's a flying dream!

That's his first though, honestly, and to Gau's mind, it's almost an analytical joy for him. Flying dreams are almost stereotypically archetypal, taking up huge chunks of every book on the subject he's ever read and being over-explained and over-analyzed to a point where...

He can sit back and set it all aside and simply enjoy again.

And enjoy he does, the sheer sensations of it, one of those nights when shared dreaming seems a blessing rather than a curse, when the amazing ability of the device clasped between his hands to transmit something as complex as

wind sliding over this patch of skin, missing that part shaded by the sleeve of a shirt he himself isn't wearing both soothes and befuddles Gau ( ... )

[And he disturbs that peace, this disheveled looking boy sitting up with a blanket around thin shoulders, the edge of a scarred collarbone poking out beneath the fabric of the blanket as he hunches over the Hitomi, his own eyes nearly jade in the darkness.]

... are your dreams always that...?

[He doesn't know the word for it. Jarring, wonderful, amazing, horrific. It's like seeing an awesome fantasy movie and then an awesome horror movie in quick succession, really, except more so.]
