[It'll give him something to do. He could certainly use the exercise. In any case, a gathering of strong fighters ready to pummel each other sounds like lots of fun to him!]
Yeah! It's been a while, but you know...I think it'll be fun.
[That tournament actually turned out pretty differently than he'd expected. He'd been promised the strongest men in Shangri-la, but he KO'd the reigning champion within seconds. In the end, it became an ikkou battle-off, but he didn't mind it so much. (He still thinks Sanzo kind of cheated, but whatever).]
What about you? [He smiles at this stranger curiously.]
[Marco isn't interested in fighting for his life for sport. That's Rachel's sort of thing anyway, and he's not surprised that Kakashi is being involved. Though he has to ask . . . ]
You mean the one in Yomisato?
So here's my question: do these natives have any powers like some of us here?
[Marco knows that Others like himself can give Superman a run for his money. And that's a crying shame, because Superman is awesome.]
[Well, it shouldn't be surprising but it is. Marco merely assumed that it is Others are the ones with superpowers while the natives are just, well, Average Joes with a beef with people who are different. Not unlike, say, the X-Men and anti-mutant sentiment.
And now this? Makes Marco curious, for the first time. He ignored the natives mostly.]
I'm not interested in fighting.
But I'll bring the popcorn.
[And Rin will better come with him. It'll be like a date.]
[Voice, because Raikou is elbow deep in pulp, and unwilling to stop the process when he can easily respond this way.]
Not likely, Kakashi-san. I might go scout it out just to see, but such a thing seems pretty pointless here.
[A pause before he clarifies.]
One should only draw to kill and killing here has no meaning, if one knows there is a high probability of being reincarnated back to oneself so quickly.

Why do you ask?

Sure. Why the hell not.
[It sounds like a fitting enough 'job' for him and housemates have been giving him evil eyes... not that he minds, of course.]

Of course. Haven't seen any competition around.

It appears some of the natives do, in fact, have powers.
