(It was always an out-of-body-- which was ironic because he's still in his own body yet he's not-- experience whenever the Hitomi broadcasts someone's dream. Phantom touches lingered once it was all over, leaving Reever to wonder just how diverse are the realities outside of his own world's.
And for such an ancient, breath-taking power to come from a little girl...
If she has an older brother, I swear there's a pattern going on.)
[It takes a while for Sakura to realize what's going on and where that sound is coming from. Lips pursed and eyebrows knitted in concentration, Sakura has her cheeks puffed out as she stares intently at the screen of the Hitomi. She isn’t sure what it is. It doesn’t look like the cellphone Tomoyo gave her, and it certainly didn’t look like a camera. It does, however, remind her of some of the special devices she has seen in movies Touya and Yukito watches when they spend the evening at home.
Looks at it. Tilts it this way and that and maybe, if she uses it like the cellphone Tomoyo had given her… ]
Hello?
[Testing. Just testing. Unsure, a little curious and if anything, freaked out but trying not to be. Trying being the keyword.]
(The time it took her to answer back, Reever wondered if he should switch to the video feed. So it was a relief that she answered, cautious yet curious, just seconds away from him pressing the 'video' button.)
Ah, hey! Good, I wasn't sure if you heard me. Are you alright?
[Suspicious people! Suspicious person! There is one talking through a device and she has no idea who it is. Maybe this… thing… someone dropped it.]
I… I can hear you! Loud and clear! Are you looking for someone you know? Who owns this phone? I found it here [nevermind. No, she hadn't been sleeping and dreaming a dream she didn't know what to make of. Just as strange as the Tokyo Tower one.] so the owner must be really worried about it…

[ What he watched just then... What was that?
Cautiously, feeling more overwhelmed than he'd realized, Doug picks the Hitomi back up from where he'd placed it and peers at its screen. This isn't the time for questions like that.
[Ah! Now it's a different voice. What is this suspicious thing? Sakura isn't sure who is who or how it's even working. But now she sounds a little unsure, because…
Well, she can see a face. So it's like a television? Those things like… what did they call it? Some sort of conference? A head tilt, looks at the person, momentarily forgetting her panic. Just for a second.
(Because she did look around, and this is definitely not Tomoeda.)]
Yes. Yes, I'm all right, thank you for asking.
[A brief twitch and a flail, waving a hand on the screen. Just to see if the person will react to the movement.]
Ahh, that is… [How does she ask a question and not sound like a complete messed up weirdo? Like, she didn't want to bother people with weird questions. The Clow Cards is sort of a secret and not many would believe it. So, she struggles, visibly, face falling and sort of well, making all sorts of faces] … this isn't my school. Do you know where Tomoeda Elementary is?
[ She must be a new arrival. She seems nervous (which he can understand, still new himself and remembering his own arrival the other day well)... Hopefully she won't be here on her own.
He offers her a relieved smile for her answer. Then an apologetic look replaces that at her question and he shakes his head. ]
I'm sorry, I've never heard of your school before. But if it's all right with you, I'll try to answer anything else.
[Maybe this stranger is a visitor in Tomoeda. Tomoeda is fairly big, after all. And even Sakura can get lost on foot. If it hadn't been for the Fly card…
Hmm.
But he seems genuinely nice. Answering questions she might have. Or offering. Oh right!]
Oh…
[Biting lower lip.]
Then, do you know the owner of this phone? I found here in the … [a flicking gaze to all the flora and fauna around her] … forest.
[He doesn't really get what's going on, it's all way too confusing for him. But he does get that none of that is supposed to be able to happen, so there must be supernatural things at work here.
[Flinches! Sakura flinches and inwardly panics because. Magic. Someone is asking her if that was magic. Wait, what is magic? The Clow Cards are in her pocket, sealing wand just a key around her neck and under the collar of her uniform.
[He's sort of flailing his arms around here, as if the random movements will somehow convey that he's talking about the weird things he saw in her dream. That has to be magic, right? Or maybe just an over-active imagination on Sakura's part.]
[And another man. Foreigner for sure. A grown up! Doesn't know him either so Sakura blinks and looks a little suspicious. Or maybe she's getting ideas. As to why she shouldn't leave this place alone.
Flinch, shoulders hunching a bit. Intimidated. Curious.]
I shouldn't?
[Unspoken, why not. She hopes he doesn't say monsters. Please don't say monsters. Not monsters!]
Uh... yeah, there are some things out there. Not that it's constantly dangerous or anything. But...
[That's a school uniform she's wearing, right? Seems eerily similar to one he's seen quite a bunch in Japan.]
You know, there aren't any polices or the likes to keep peace and perhaps you should just find someone to get you from there to one of those nicer villages.
[A pause and Sakura blinks, blinks, a soft ho-eh? rolling off her tongue out of habit. She doesn't get it.]
No police?
[That's kind of strange. And a village? He means a town, doesn't he? Well, some people do use different words sometimes.]
That can't be right. There's always police everywhere. If you you don't mind telling me where the bus stop is … ?
[Sakura wonders. Just wonders. She still have some yen in her coin purse. She can get home from there, hell. She can use Fly. But… but… there's something odd. She can't shake the feeling off, like slow gentle needles between her shoulder blades.]
I can make my way to the town!
[Smile! Everything will be absolutely all right! She's not scared. Nope. Nope.
[It is a well-worn routine by now -- day after day, you check your Hitomi, you see what other people have to say on it, and sometimes, you stumble upon a dream.
This one grabs Rin's attention. Such a turbulent dream for a girl so young -- so nigh-earthshattering. Rin can feel the echo of it tingling through her body.
Come to think of it, she doesn't know this girl. Which is fair enough, seeing as she doesn't everyone in Kannagara by far -- but she needs to remedy that, anyway. So she might as well start here.]
[A... female voice. Sakura perks a little bit because it sounds so polite and so nice. So of course, ah, ah, she should reply! A bit of a stumble on her words and then, ]
[Oh man, she's being laughed at. Sakura feels her ears burn a little and she nods, a little too rapidly. And then shakes her head and then... oh hell, hanging her head now.]
Y-Yes... though I didn't mean to! I was in class and... uhmm... somehow I am here.

Color him curious. And a little worried. Worried for her.
