[Which she knows she doesn't really have much reason to be, because from their treatment in this world up to now, it was only a small step to this.
Still, it is just a tiny bit offensive to see this attitude so out in the open. No more nice, steady houses in Hisato, huh?

Do excuse me if I should be wrong, but haven't these tragedies befallen everyone, no matter what fraction of people they identified with? I've seen Celestials, nomads and the citizens of Yomisato in pain. Mostly, I've seen "outsiders" like me ( ... )

[He's beaming into the Hitomi, sweaty and obviously tired from the work he's been doing to help those who have lost homes, who have been injured and lost loved ones and everything else in this time of trouble.]
It doesn't change anything for me, what anyone says or does. I still plan to do my best, for these people and everyone else.
