[There is a dark skinned, dark haired
man staring at a cow on the Hitomi's screen. He looks from the cow, to the Hitomi, and back again. There's a herd of cattle actually, and the man is standing among them wearing a rather revealing white tunic and black pants. His arms are crossed

And lowing.
That voice. And lowing. Bovine lowing.
He's scrubbing the dirt off his face from the fall while fumbling wildly for his Hitomi.
What.
Just.
...There are zombies and Akuma and Kanda drinking blood water and tentacle things and nightmares and Lenalee looking at shadows like they might stab her and the Earl and people running and screaming and scared and-
... and then there is Tyki.
With his cows.]
... Tyki?
[Excuse him. Manners, forgotten. Oh, right. Noah. Also forgotten a bit. Private? What's that? Screw you, Link. ... Okay, not really.]

[Of course he enjoys his white life. The idea of a rematch with Allen appeals to him. At poker, of course. But, well. With the Boss around and active, things might not be simple any more.]
[And that's fine with Tyki too. After all, if you can't be evil, life just isn't as fun. The black side makes the white all the sweeter, and the white provides balance for the black. He has to be careful not to lose his white side, but... Pushing the balance is fun too.]
[At least this all promises to be amusing. Interesting. More exciting than he'd hoped.]
[And hey, if the Boss ever gives him time off, maybe he and Road can cook up another plot for the Exorcists. Like the Ark. Just for old time's sake.]
After all, I might surprise you.

Perhaps.
[Noah are anything but everything he doesn't expect them to be half the time.]
But I don't really see the need to fill you in on things just so you can throw them back in my face.

This time around, she wants to be able to protect both herself and those she cares for.
It could be nothing, of course, especially since this apparently-new guy has been quite civil so far, but better be safe than sorry.]
Uhm, Allen? Who is this?
Reply
Ah, Rin...
[A pause. It's a little complicated.]
... His name's Tyki Mikk. Do you remember when Road arrived? ... He's like her.
Reply
You... warned about her, didn't you?
So there's two of them here now.
[She wants to smack herself for talking nicely to the guy. Now she really hopes he won't get back on her about that storytelling.]

[It's trailed off because actually, he feels a little guilty about that.
Road had been making progress.]
He was here before, Tyki... But yes. Ah... three. Sort of. The one that leads all of them... I just heard from him, too. He's called the Earl.
[It's a long pause because he feels he should apoligize for that, his world and its dark things coming here.]

Everything happening lately; it's all a little at-once, isn't it?
[Humor. He tries to find it.]

She lets a quiet laugh come through.]
Mh, it is. When they get going, they really get going, huh?
[Pause as she gets serious again.]
I'm sorry you have to deal with that. Are you and yours doing okay?
Reply
He does sober again as well as she does.]
We're-
[Lavi, Road. Everything.
Earl.
Never fast enough.
He smiles even if she can't see it, leaning back against the wall; tone deceitfully light.]
It's not as bad as it could be. Everyone is safe. Mizusato now.
[Curios glance - right, at nothing. He's become a little used to the video function.]
And you?

[She supposes he's right. It always could be worse. And whenever you think you've hit rock bottom, something more terrible happens.]
I'm holding up okay.

That's good.
Whatever is happening... I think most people have gotten to safety at least.
It can't last forever, anyway. We'll get back to our homes.

About that... a while ago, I -
I spoke to Ame-no-Uzume. And she told me that the us that's here... it's a sort of "copy". That there's still another us at home. That we exist in both places at once.

Wait, she said-?
[A pause. And...
Honestly, he has no idea. Smiling and sad and a little angry at the same time even if smiling softly.]
I.. wondered. Since I went back after-
[Well, what happened. Pause again. How silly. He smiles more genuinely, picking the fragments of what all that means up.]
It makes a lot of sense given everything. I'm... glad.
At least we haven't really left, if that's true...

The other one, Ukemochi... she told me they aren't really gods, too. Not exactly.

[He seems to have perked up a bit. She's happy about that. And she's also happy that this truth - if it is truth - exists.
She doesn't know what she would've done if that hadn't come when it did.
But then he says something else, and she jumps on that. Not really gods? What is that supposed to mean?]
Ukemochi? What else did she tell you?
