Hah, maybe. I'm more interested in that healing you mentioned, truth be told. I'd hate to fall out of a tree and break my arm.

[It's true - though he's planning more for what he'll do if someone tries to kill him, for whatever reason. Or throws magical fireballs at him.]

But you don't know how much you'll make, hm? Not much custom?

[Hakkai slides his hand up and rubs at the back of his head... and there's a slight metallic sound as he kicks a foot against the inside of the Jeep, because the little noise the vehicle makes is suspiciously like a laugh.]

Um, actually, it's not so much like I don't have many customers as that I haven't started yet. That's what the video was for.

[He smiles sheepishly, gives a nervous chuckle.]

As for the healing, a broken arm would be easy enough to fix, as long as I'm not exhausted or anything. Pretty much I heal using my own 'chi' energy, so it does wipe me out a bit, but... I've healed gunshots and all manner of injuries...

[The dead, he can't do anything for. And there have been times... he's not perfect, he's not a god. He's not Hazel. But... he does what he can.]

[Iskierka snorts at the video. Hakkai's proposition does sound like a good idea, but Iskierka is a bit immature and grumpy that she didn't think of this idea first. She thinks she would be much better for carrying people around, as she is much larger than Jeep is and can carry more people. Plus she could really use the money.

But instead of talking with Hakkai and seeing if she can work with him or something, she gets annoyed and starts talking down to him. It's not a dangerous anger, though. It's more like a dragon temper tantrum.]

Why would anyone ask for help with transportation? There are other, much better means of getting around this country.

[The implication there is that she would be better, because she honestly thinks she would be.]

And besides, distance is not normal here. You can get anywhere within the hour if you will it so.

[Before Hakkai has a chance to respond, the vehicle that he's sitting in disappears in a poof of smoke, dropping him to the ground. In the place of it, there's a small white dragon, and the (falling) Hitomi gets snatched up by small claws, the image jumping around crazily for a moment.

There's a scuffle, and then the man is leaning into the picture, trying to talk over the excited chirping of the little dragon.]

Apparently my friend is rather excited to see another dragon, I'm sorry.

[He flails a bit at the creature, shooing him.] Jeep, LET ME TALK, PLEASE?

[A shake of the head, but the dragon sulkily relents, moving to the top of Hakkai's head and tugging at his hair as he tries to respond.]

I'm sure someone will be interested, anyway. A few of the locals have expressed interest at least, and Jeep is a bit of a novelty.

[Sorry Hakkai, Iskierka is distracted by SUDDEN DRAGON OMG. No dragons in her world have the power of transformation, so she is very surprised by this.]

He changed form!

[But once the surprise has passed, Iskierka is very interested in finding out how he does it. If it is some ritual, rather than an ability granted by birth, she wants to know. This may or may not have something to do with her wish to try being human for a day.]

How did he do it? Was there some kind of magic involved?

[Jeep makes little chirpy noises as the screen, as if answering the question, but Hakkai reaches up and pats at him, trying to calm him.

He doesn't know if this dragon could understand Jeep or not, but he's not sure if Jeep's secret, even if it could be given away, is a good thing to have out there.]

I don't know, honestly. He doesn't speak human languages, not really. And he's had this power as long as I've known him, which has been a couple years now.

[He's gotten over the 'sudden dragon' thing a bit by now at least. Well, there is Iskierka and there are dragon-like dragons all around Kannagara, so... he should be used to it by now, right? Allen Walker is damn good and smiling, nodding, and accepting the most outrageous concepts when he has to.]

Mr. Hakkai, was it? I'm Allen Walker.

In regards to your, um... 'vehicle' - have you thought about working for some of the traders? I know they often look for people to get their wares quickly and safely between villages.

[Ahaha. He might be selling himself out of his profession, but the idea is intriguing and... it would be helpful for everyone, right?]

[The smile Hakkai offers the strange-looking young man is wide and bright, but his head is tilted just slightly, giving away a certain thoughtfulness. The strange scars on the younger man's face make him quite curious, as does the shade of his hair.]

Why thank you! I hadn't thought of that idea yet, no. I suppose I should speak more to the locals.

[He nods his head a little.]

It's very nice to meet you, Allen Walker. And I appreciate your advice. So far I've been mooching a bit off my friend Goku, so it's definitely time I get some gainful employment... and maybe that would be a little more stable than relying on others like ourselves from different worlds.

Goku has been my friend for several years. He's been amazing to me since I came here, as well.

Isn't Dre that kid with the hair... [Hakkai takes a strand of his hair and pulls it back, as if trying to show Allen what he means.] He's very young, isn't he?
