[The feed starts sometime during the later afternoon, with the Hitomi being rotated and turned over left and right, with fingers tapping the screen and curious eyes frowning at the device. Then the feed dies off. Roughly about fifteen minutes later, the feed starts and the face that comes to view is one that is quite exasperated, hair down and

Asking strange things, though. Maybe Allen didn't know him that well, though? He rather didn't...
And that... question.
...
It itches at something. Something oh, Allen is quite familiar with but would rather forget and bury with the memories it came from. Not that he's had to put it to use here at all. Not that he'd ever want to if he had a choice, but... but maybe Iruka really needs the money for something, he seems a good person usually.
...And that hypothetical situation speaks so strongly to Allen, sometimes having to dip into that dark side just to scrape by. Compulsive need to palm the cards or slip in an ace, win or bust; literally as it felt like win or die horribly in some gutter ( ... )

[Who doesn't cheat with these kinds of games? In fact, who doesn't cheat in general? Iruka can't think of anyone but the benefit of having chakra control is one of the things that has helped him survive.
He gives a bit of a shrug and a smile that's not really a smile but more of a extension of his lips curving upwards. Habit when talking to people.]
Got any ideas, boy?

It's a little weird, but it's hard to keep this ball from rolling once it gets started. Blame it on the stress syndrome and being a bit obsessive compulsive when it comes to this topic..]
Ah... I haven't done anything like that here.
[Slight pang of guilt. Right...]

Although I know where to look.

Oh, Kakashi can't resist. ]
You could try stripping.

Oh so that one pays well here, too huh? Okay, where?

[Something seems...strangely off about him today.]

But really, Iruka is starting to wonder if he just ... just attracts people with white hair. This is the third one now! In a row!]
... hey there, person-who-I-do-not-know-but-apparently-knows-me.
[There is no ... fondness in his tone though. This is starting to be annoying.]

Oh the insanity. Someone save Ukitake's poor confused brain.]
Ukitake Jushiro.
[He tries offering a smile, but it is faintly strained. He's tired of these games, getting tired of the gods and their whims. It takes a lot to frustrate Ukitake, but this is starting to grate on even his nerves.]
I take it you do not remember this world or those in it?

[A nod. Iruka does not introduce himself because it's moot. But he does give Ukitake a look that says, you're-crazy though.]
When you say world, you are aware that you sound a little like a deranged lunatic right? Granted I don't remember Kannagara, or what part of Fire this town is. Let alone how I got here. But sure, no, I don't remember any of you at all~

I hear word on the streets that there are plenty of gambling joints in Yomisato.

But wait, this one is actually sort of useful. So far.]
Sounds like a good place to make quick cash. Where's that?

[chuckling darkly now]

Yeah, right, thanks for that. I really appreciate it and all. I'll make sure to remember your advice.
[A pause.]
You okay though? Terrible cough you got there.
[Totally making fun of your laugh by the way. Totally. Does so with a smile too.]

You could try the Arena if you got the skill for it.

Might be able to. What can you tell me about it?

It's pretty straightforward really. You sign up, beat or kill your opponent, then walk out with a clean cut of the betting pool. Helps if you're a sudden contender since those never get too many bets on em unless they are huge freaks. You get to rake in easy dough.

Dirty fighting. I like that. How much of easy dough are we talking about here? Enough to earn a nice meal and room for a few days, perhaps? Or are we talking houses and riches and women and booze?
