well, i was feeling really... tired and dazed when writing this, a little cynical about the world haha, much like how jongin looks in the picture. and i was concentrating on his expression throughout the fic. it's like he doesn't really know how to feel about this ot3 he's ended up in, and while he might like it he doesn't really want to like it, you know? so the arousal chanyeol stirrs in him is one thing, but it's another when he catches himself hoping to be kissed, and getting actual feelings from this. and in one way, he sort of doesn't bother to beat himself up for it, but he also sort of hates it because it's.. sappy? and getting emotional is so fucking cliche? also the fact that chanyeol not kissing him might have meant more than him kissing him... in a way.
