Unless one was being fashionably Continental, it was usually "marquess" (pronounced MAR-kwess) in England in the period we portray. One of many examples of the English purposefully twisting French words to their own purposes. The two titles are essentially the same thing regardless. :~)

Nope -- C's a young slip of a thing, not wonderfully bearish like darkblood777. My man'll hopefully be out fairly often, but we're not sure as what yet.

C is a surprise. *evil grin* They won't be there all the time but enough to wreak all kinds of mischief.
