It occurs to me that perhaps I should post this one-liner at the end of each day, to tally up the bombing days during which I was not blown up. i know what you mean - my feet are hurting!! although yesterday i could actually get the tube home - i worked out a third way of getting home from work without having to resort to the bus. and it was actually really quick, plus i got a seat - the district line was so empty. i think people were in general avoiding the tube and crowding onto buses.

People in my office were going on about the infamous strikes of years ago, back when I was too young (& abroad) to have known about it. all of london walking to work... no rubbish collections... *mind boggles*
