Wow.

Gen whore that I am, I almost feel like the first segment could stand as a story on its own. The description of the beautiful, brutal, completely alien landscape of Amarendos and the parallels the point-of-view character draws between that planet and the tinkly deadliness of the Royal Court is a gorgeous bit of world-building.

On the other hand, her insight into Londo and G'Kar- particularly her realization that Londo is embracing his own death- is fantastic. There's no need for porn here- the story is quite good without it.
