Glad to hear you got in, I look forward to seeing what you will do with those! *rubs hands in gleeful anticipation*
As for myself, I spent a week doubting whether or not I would join, until it was decided for me when sign-ups were closed. Ah, well, that'll teach me for being a wimp! :)

All in all, you seem to have some tough ones at strategic locations: Hooker AU? Fuck or die? Genderswap??? R1, R5 and C5 are my personal favorites (sleeping arrangements; truth serum; first times: ooh!); R1, R3, C1 and C5 seem doable too.

Do you also take requests? *g*

I've been really weak-willed lately when it comes to ficathons! *g* Normally I only do yuletide on a regular basis, because I already have 3 fanfic100 claims on the go and I am still diligently working my way through them...

If you want to write, write! There's loads of ficathons out there at any one time, srsly, sign up...

Just popped in there for a quick look, and bumped into that Carnivale fic you just posted. I really liked it - but I'll leave my comments over there. :)

Ah, if it were that simple! The problem is that most of those ficathons have a deadline, and I'm a disaster at that. Because it takes me weeks to finish a single fic, and I'm *not* someone whose writing style improves under pressure. Plus, I never signed up for a ficathon before, and I'm kind of flailing in panic at the thought of doing it. That's why I liked this one: no obligations, no prompters whose expectations you need to live up to... Seemed ideal!

Re: Genderswap... Now you're making me curious! Is that drabble of yours somewhere on this journal? *g*

I was just about to ask which Carnivale fic, 'cause I couldn't remember doing one for yuletide. *g* I get really sugared up after handing in my assignment and pinch hit non-stop for more or less then entire week beforehand, it's awesome fun but I don't get to remember any of it...

There's loads of claims tables out there, though... true, you normally have to limit yourself to a single fandom, but you can take as long as you want on it. The Londo and Bristow/Sloane claims I'm writing have been underway for over three years.

*sigh* It's only a little thing... ... )

Ooo, you got some good stuff in there. I'm not sure which line I'd go for first. The first story for my first line currently stands at 6000 words and counting with no particular end in sight, and I pretty much want to write everything on my card!

I'm really pleased with it! I think I can reasonably attempt everything except the Hooker AU (which is a major squick of mine), so there will be many happy writing hours ahead...

Weirdly, I'm currently trying to put my brain off an X-Files porn AU because my brain has decided 'Fox' is far too good a porn star name to pass up.

Happy writing! *scribbles madly*
