this summer, my sister went on a trip with a company called "the road less traveled". on EVERYTHING they send out, catalogs, letters, postcards, whatever, there's always the quote "two roads diverged in a wood, and i-i took the one less traveelled by, and that has made all the difference".
&&does this poem make either of my cousins (or you too, katie) think of cape cod? it always makes me think of the road.
I have to say that it doesn't make me think of anywhere specifically.
For me, it brings to mind choices, decisions in life, standing back afterwards, looking at the decision you made, thinking 'did I do the right thing?'
Mind you, although I've only been to the Cape once I can appreiciate what's so special about it, why it seems to hold a very special place in all of your hearts. And I'm jealous of you for always having it available to go back to. I'd love to see it in winter. (even if actually staying in your house was an impossibility)
