Oh, this is so tragic and sweet. I really like the style too - it feels so nicely structured, and the use of locations to trigger events keeps it nicely concrete. I have much love for this piece.

This is the road that goes to the village, where Remus will pull Sirius into a shadowy alcove behind the Hog’s Head Inn and twine his fingers in that silky black hair and just look, until Sirius’s impatience takes over.

That made me aww aloud. So pretty.

The whole thing is beautiful and sweet and sad all at the same time. They're walking along and they just have no idea of what lies ahead, and it's all so painful and it makes me want to protect them from what's coming. Poor, naive boys...
