I loved it. I absolutely loved it. I loved Dudley and how he handled his mental father, and I loved how paranoid Vernon had become.

There are people like that in this world. I've met one, so I don't believe it was OOC at all. They can seem so fine one day and something can set them off. Vernon lost his family to the magical world.

I wouldn't be surprised if he did go barking.

lol thanks. I do understand how some can see it as OOC. But, yeah, when you're talking five years since you last saw him, a lot of shit can happen in that time.

Nice plot twist - so Marge was just being horrible as usual and she knew about magic all along. No wonder Vernon and Petunia were worried she would connect the exploding wine glass with magic in POA.

So Benjy Fenwick - I hope we get more of his story.

And Vernon - completely mental - would have been good for Dudley to Accio the tazer and use it on his dad!

He can't... the only Accio that he can use is on the charm itself. That's the only magic he has available to him.

And I don't know if we're going to get more from Benjy. Honestly, he was just a name that I found in the book as an old Order member, the only one who really had no connection to anyone.

Argh! A cliff hanger. Nice way to bring Dudley into the wizarding world a little more. I think it's interesting you had Vernon and Petunia meet at Hogwart's graduation.

And, cliffhanger, yeah. Space limitations on LJ force my hand. But know that I'll never leave a cliffhanger unresolved. ;)

My posting's kinda gotten into this comfortable once-per-weekend groove, unless I have specific extra days to work on a chapter. And, of course, I'm usually done with it by about, oh, midnight my time, so I hold onto it until the morning. Give it one last pass when I'm coherent enough to see if I made any mistakes. Plus my american readers don't have to wait eight hours to see it. lol
