What he doesn't seem to understand is that the reason it's exclusive to the PS4 IS because they aren't doing well - and the only reason the game is being released at all is because Sony basically stepped in and helped make sure it got done.

Also Capcom wanted crossplay between consoles and PCs. This is something Microsoft basically says "No way, not happening." And that's most likely the main reason the Xbone is excluded here - because Microsoft didn't want to play.

Sure, forcing crossplay is on Capcom. They didn't NEED to do that, but it's their decision ultimately. They can sink or swim with it.

Also, Joe's claim that they're cutting off their "huge" fanbase is a bit overstated imo. The PS4 is still two-to-one with the Xbone. At most they're probably axing off 1/3. And that's assuming everyone on either console is going to be jumping at SFV when the Xbone crowd is usually more FPS than fighting game.
