Kinda glad I've never really been a bioware fan to begin with. I do have some of their games, but even the whole not-really-included-DLC-ultimate edition of Dragon's Age has pretty much made me boycott anything else from them. Not that I'd give them much attention these days anyway since I'm boycotting EA as well for the most part. >_>
Pretty easy to maintain the boycott when they keep putting out (in my oh so humble opinion) shit.
Just about everything BioWare did prior to them getting bought by EA was great, I thought[1]. Games like Baldur'sGate (plusexpansions), Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, and Jade Empire are still definitely worth playing, even today. Except for the Star Wars game, all of those are available on GOG. (I almost accidentally included Planescape: Torment and Icewind Dale in there, but those weren't made by BioWare

[1] - With the possible exception of Neverwinter Nights, though I've only ever played the vanilla version of the first game in that series myself, so don't know about the sequels. I would have liked NWN1 a whole lot more if it hadn't been a roach motel as far as bugs go. I'm sure I've mentioned this in the past, but that was the game that came with a C/C++ level designer, and I was using that to literally fix bugs in the fucking game as I played it. I apparently had a whole lot more patience back then for that sort of shit than I do now. These days, I'll just stop playing a game outright and move on to something else if I run into that kind of shit.
[2] - To paraphrase something from that link, I fully expect in a few years to be reading something like "You'd think that BioWare would still be around, making smash hits in every genre they touched, but sadly, it was not to be. That being said, I'm sure I've downloaded some of their games when they went up as freebies on PSN. If I ever start to run low on space on my 1TB PS3 though, they're the first ones to go.
