Hey look, it's Cliffy B saying something stupid yet again. Why am I not surprised that this pompous douchebag supports always online? Oh, right, it's because he supports other utterly asinine shit like microtransactions and on-disc DLC as well.
Seriously, why do people still care what this arrogant asshat has to say anymore? Fuck Cliff Bleszinksi.
As for Adam Orth losing his job most likely due to his own idiotic comments, I'm not necessarily dancing in the streets about that, but I'm also not crying myself to sleep about it either. Either way, fuck Adam Orth, too. If the next Xbox comes out with always online bullshit, as the rumors say, then I hope even more Microsoft employees lose their jobs because of it during the backlash that will surely follow, and preferably it would be people closer to the top who made the terrible decision to go with it than those at the bottom who were merely following orders and had no real say in the matter (though it would more likely be the opposite, sadly).
Lastly, if "always-online connectivity for games is probably inevitable," then, as I've said countless times before, it is also equally inevitable that I'll simply stop buying and playing games altogether in the future, at least outside of retro stuff with which I won't have to worry about any of this bullshit.
