"The Very Secret Diary"
This is the first piece of fan-fiction that I've read in years.*
The basis for the story is the Tom Riddle diary from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. The entire thing is the author's take on Ginny Weasley's entries into the book, her interactions with Riddle, and Riddle's slow destruction of her over the course of ten months. Though somewhat depressing toward the end, I thought it was pretty interesting overall. The only quibble with it that I had was the use of the name "Virginia" throughout, given that this isn't actually her canonical real first name and all, but since this was almost assuredly written well before that become known, it is forgivable.
