Bwahahaha. Now I'm really wishing they *had* had holodecks. All sorts of fun could have been had. Then again, all the planets-with-a-bit-of-Earth-history kind of served the same function, I guess...who needs a holodeck when you can act out the O.K. Corral on an actual planet?
