So, as part of my Mission 101 thing I wanted to get caught up on our scrapbooks, and also do 365 layouts within the year, a page a day. Well I had recently completed 12 (see here) and I just finished #13 tonight.

So in addition to doing 365 layouts this year, I decided to participate in a challenge issued in a scrapbooking community scrapbookers. The challenge ( Read more... )

that looks awesome :) I also love scrapbooking but never have time. I have lots of time this month, but my scrapbooking area is buried b/c of Xmas stuff, lol! Your daughter is so lucky that you like it though....it'll be such good memories when she's older :)

Thank you! Lol, you will have to dig everything out! That is my battle sometimes. I clean up everything and then I am too tired to scrapbook! But then the next time I'm all set.

Thank you! Her and my son love to grab their books out and just look through them. I dread looking at them sometimes just because of how the styles have changed and stuff from 9 years ago looks so different from now. But yes, they are way fun to remember!

Thank you! Haha, now the trick is staying ahead, or not too far behind!

Wow. I'm impressed. I got into scrapbooking for a while right after college. (I go on craft binges/sprees. Right now it is my quilt.) And we have such different styles. But I really like yours. It is beyond my scope of imagination and skills. I stick to using basic shapes, patterns, and colors. I like the idea of ribbons and buttons. I never took a real class, so maybe that's why the idea is all new to me. Please continue posting your work. I would love to see more of your skills. :)

Thank you! It is interesting to see all of the different styles out there. I think of myself as a more "simple scrapper" and try not to overembellish as much. I've noticed the trend lately is to add lots of "eye candy" and "bling" to pages so I'm trying to add a little bit more of that into my layouts.

I've never taken a class before, so the one I signed up for in March will be my first! I do a Stampin Up group for stamps, but that's a lot different than taking a scrapbook class at a scrapbook store I think.

Thanks again! I'm glad you liked it! I am trying to keep all my crafts updated on my Krafty blog so you can check out some other scrapbook pages I've done in the last few months. I'll keep posting them here, too. :)
