Cherish the Chesapeake!
After leaving Washington, DC, we visited every single county in Delaware. (There are only three of them.) We stopped for a little bit at Broadkill Beach, Delaware inside the Point Hook National Wildlife Refuge. The beach is more exciting to some than to others, but it definitely makes for a picture of the day.

(By the way, this picture is of Delaware Bay, not of Chesapeake Bay. We did later drive across the Chesapeake into Annapolis, Maryland, however.)
