The cosmos broke through the soil. It's the tiniest little green sprout. I'm trying not to influence it to grow on purpose. I'd like to see how long it takes without my nudging pushing it along. Granted, I can't exactly prevent anything from happening if my good mood spreads out

I couldn't tell you to stay away. They're going to grow even if I try to hold back. It would be unfair to expect you to do the same.

What are your thoughts on genetic modification of plants?

I'm fine with it, for the most part. Especially if it has beneficial outcomes to both the plant and the surrounding environment.
