Can I just thank the person who originally came up with the "what I love about you" meme. Life gets tough sometimes and we all have to deal with so much shit. What a nice break it has been to read this feel good stuff (I'm even been reading what people have written about others b/c I think it is so positive)! There is such a stigma about women ( Read more... )

Amen to that Kami.. It was such a sweet meme, and it was so nice to read what everyone has to say about their "friends".. Super nice :)

I have definitely appreciated the lift it has given me during these last few 'trying' days. Oh, and thanks so much for referring me to that baby-gag website. I just ordered the jogging stroller for Logan (and they had it at BRU, so I was able to use my GC from my work shower and basically got it for free!!!)

Great score on the stroller. I can't believe you have managed to keep a BRU gift card this long. Very impressive! I usually end up spending all my credits there on diapers and non-fun stuff. ;)

May you be done with those 'trying' days in the very near future, my friend. Did Logan's teeth cut yet? Maya has been a BEAR all day. I know something is causing her pain. I think it is her teeth but there are no bumps so there is no evidence. Either that or she had bad gas or SOMETHING. I was going out of my mind being home with her all day today. Sooooo happy to be at work!

I totally agree. I think we should all REPOST the meme since it can get buried and we might not get a chance to do it for everyone if we only post it once. For me, it was a great opportunity to put my thoughts together about those of you who have come to mean a lot to me--whether I have met you in real life or not. And, on the flip side, it's really interesting to see the similarity in comments about yourself. It kind of helps to paint a good picture of how you are perceived--and it might not always match with how you perceive yourself. For me it's also been good to point out areas I might need to develop. I love that I have heard from everyone that I am strong--because I do take pride in that. But, I realize I have not let my fun/goofy side out as much lately. Probably because I have not had much free time to socialize and just hang loose. So, reading 'my' comments has given me a wakeup call. Does that make ANY sense?
