At the end of my rope

Sleeping was even worse last night. Maya is regressing like no tomorrow. I am questioning my sanity...

I seriously don't know what I will do if this doesn't improve. She is too young to CIO. How are things going with you in the sleep dept?

Wel, we leave to go on vacation tomorrow morning, so I'm sure her sleep will go to shit again. But things are *slightly* better, as in she's getting up 2 times a night. She's sick again too (it NEVER ends), so that's sending her into a tailspin.

I wish I could tell you that this magically gets better, and it might for you (Maya has STTN more than Caitlyn already!), but it hasn't for us..

Hang in there :)

-Oh, and I can't do CIO. Plain and simple, I'm the world's biggest wuss. So no advice there either. God I'm useless!

Ugh - sorry - perhaps it is a growth spurt. Fingers crossed she naps today so you can get some shut-eye.

Can your mom come at any point today to give you a break, or is she working?

She works full time, unfortunetly. I did manage to get an hour nap when Maya did this morning and that helped. She is napping again, thank goodness.

I'm sorry this is so tough for you Kami. Have you made a Dr. appt yet?
Would you consider switching to formula if they reco'd it? I'm sure a lot of her crankiness is because she doesn't feel good and thats her only way to express herself!
Hang in there..Hugs!!

Actually, studies show that formula is much worse on reflux than breastmilk. I don't know the science of it all, but breastmilk digests faster and that is a good thing, apparently.
