いっらしゃいませ!
Welcome!

Sorry about the long gap after the last translation I've done. I guess many people were busy during the holidays too. Anyways, I just bought the Arashi Around Asia '08 pamphlet (Taipei version), so I'd like to translate part of it. In case you're wondering, the group talk in the pamphlet is set on 2 blank, white pages with the ( Read more... )

Hey there,

I just wanted to let you know that I've been working on translating the Taipei pamphlet for the past while now :) I've got the brief messages and two of the member interviews done so far, and once I get Sho's birthday project out of the way I'll probably get back to finishing the rest.

Of course, I'm not saying that you're not allowed to translate them too, but I figured I'd let you know in case you're like me and don't like to waste time and effort in translating something that's already been done. XD

Hi!
Oh, okay. Thanks for letting me know. I don't know if I still want to translate the rest since it's a lot of work, but even if I do, I don't plan on posting the links to the Arashi LJ communities. I just kind of want to have a complete set on my own, but then again I really don't know if I have time to translate them anyway.
Plus, all your translations are so much better and more accurate. ^^

Yeah, I usually take that into account before I translate anything-- whether or not someone's done it already, and then after that whether or not I feel up for it. XD And to me it's like... there's so much more stuff out there waiting to be translated, so why waste time translating the same thing over again? (I seem to be in the minority though, most of the people I know who also translate don't seem to mind doing repeats as much as I do...)

Aww, thank you! ♥ It's really just a matter of practising though, I've been translating for almost four years now and it's only in this past year or so that I started to actually feel confident about them. XD At the risk of sounding full of myself, keep it up!

True, there're a lot more articles out there that haven't been translated yet, so rather than doing repeats, perhaps it's better to use that time to translate new stuff. ^^
Thanks! I'll definitely practice more to get better.

Thank you for translating and colouring the names! At first I was just scrolling down to see how long the article was and I was like, "where is Ohno? Does he not talk at all this time?" and then finally I see his name in blue, like halfway down. XDD OHNO TALK MORE PLZ.

OMG ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY BALLOONS. ;_____; I was actually worried, when I saw clips of the balloons launching, of all the waste, ha ha, so I actually hoped for eco-friendly balloons XD omg <3 and they did it!!

Jun - standing so close to the fireworks. He got really lucky! Wow.

Thank you for this! And I have to tell you that I am in love with your journal layout. *___*

No problem for the translation and the color. xD
Yeah, Ohno should really talk more. Well, he's "busy" doing something else during the talk, and the answer will be revealed in part 2! And he does talk more later. :DD
Yess! It's good that they're trying to protect the environment.
If he stood any close to the fireworks, he'd get himself burnt. Nobody wants to see him going to the hospital, right?
Oh, thanks, although I wasn't the one designing the layout. I just found the codes somewhere. xD

I attended the Taipei Con and I bought the pamphlet so I can't thank you enough for this translation.

I haven't read this yet and it's killing me to ignore it first and continue working, hehe. I'm planning to print this and insert it together with my pamphlet. Once again, arigatou!!!

lucky! you went to their concert! haha, no need to thank me so much. it's my pleasure translating it. i understand your pain when there's work to do, and it's so hard to resist taking some time out for fangirling. xD i feel honored that my translation will be printed and put together with your pamphlet. thanks!
