いっらしゃいませ!
Welcome!
This time I bring you the translation of the Arashi Q&A section / Part 1 in the December issue of Popolo. Note: (1) the first 2 questions for each member are asked by readers; (2) as usual, words in a lighter gray and [ ] are my comments/thoughts/notes that you may skip over. Thank you
krooxy for your help on a few parts!

Yup, it's always good to learn more about the boys.

No problem for the translation.

I can totally understand why the guys would be embarrassed by their debut song being "A.Ra.Shi". Normally, when I hear that a song is called the same as the band that sings it, I tend to give that band a few months of fame only, because something like that really lacks creativity. ^^"
I'm glad Arashi's called Arashi, and I love the song "A.Ra.Shi", but I still feel sorry for them a bit. ^^"
I loved some of their answers here! Especially Aiba explaining that his crying is because of his aging lacrimal gland... XD
I have to confess, though, that I don't really understand Nino's answer to the "report on recent Arashi happenings" question. I just can't get the meaning of that answer. °.°

I see how they boys get embarrassed by the title of A.Ra.Shi, but I'm still glad that it's their debut song. It really represents our boys.
Aiba worrying about aging makes me laugh. At least his aging is shown by the weakening of his lacrimal gland rather than on his pretty face. XD
I often have trouble translating or simply put the words in coherent English. *re-reads translation* I need to fix it somehow. I don't even understand what I'm saying. Basically, Nino had a meeting with the Jimusho staff about his (Arashi's?) future work...Sorry for making you confused!

Aiba (or Arashi) worrying about aging is HILARIOUS, especially because they have the tendency to blame the weirdest things on their aging, which makes me wonder whether they've actually fully understood the concept. XD
I know that feeling...^^"
I understood that Nino had a meeting with the Jimusho staff about his (or their) future; but what does he mean with that was his "first experience"? The first time being called in for a talk about the future like that? But if he was already called in before (as, I think, the rest of the sentence implies), what is the "first" part of it? And what does he mean that he's finally progressed to the next stage?
Sorry, I'm sure this is all fault of me being stupid and Nino being Nino rather than your translation. ^^" I somehow just can't really make any sense out of his words. v-v"

Since Nino (and the rest of Arashi) has been in JE for such a long time, I highly doubt that he just recently had his first meeting with the Jimusho staff to talk about his/Arashi's future. Maybe the "first" part is getting a call from the Jimusho for a meeting...suddenly like an emergency...? I'm just guessing here...^^;;

"I didn't mean to cry, but it seems like my lacrimal gland is becoming weak due to aging. (laugh)" <--this sounds extremely funny , OWH aiba :P :P :P
