I like the Twits, but sometimes wish you put them under a cut just because they are looooong some days.

Unfortunately, LoudTwitter doesn't offer a cut option so I have to log onto LJ and do that manually. Since LoudTwitter posts automatically at 12 am every night that leaves many hours for the uncut version to lounge around on my blog. Especially if I have to work the next day and can't get on-line beforehand.

I've actually cut a previous Twit that was uber long due to my tweeting during the VP Debate last week. Hope that helped a bit!

Hmm, I'll write LoudTwitter's developers and suggest they offer an option to manually limit the number of tweets posted with a link at the bottom to see more. Hopefully they'll like the idea and implement it soon. :-)

Otherwise, I'm afraid we're stuck with me manually cutting tweets when I can. Sorry, popelizbet! :-(

And BTW, your icon is adorable!! The seals are my fave! Always ruse to rush to see them at the zoo. :-D

Hee! Credit for the icon is in my userinfo. And thanks for the info! I'm not one of those people who's like AUGH MY FLIST IT BURNS whenever there are long posts, but a lot of tweeting doesn't make sense to me because I don't know the parties (even with people I know IRL)! I wasn't sure if there was a way to autocut it or not. :D

AUGH MY FLIST IT BURNS Hahahahaha! That just made me spit chocolate milk through my nose! Thank you. LOL :-P

And I just sent the LT developer an e-mail requesting a way to autocut posts. Maybe he can add an option to limit tweets to 10 or 20 per post. That would be nice. *Crossing fingers* Let's hope!

He just had a brand new baby so I dunno how soon he'll read anything. I'm gonna post the suggestion on his Twitter account too http://www.twitter.com/loudtweeter.

Tell your friends to suggest it too. He'll pay attention if more than one person is requesting it.

BTW, I just subscribed to your LJ via Google Reader so I can keep up-to-date easier. The Flist on LJ leaves something to be desired by way of custom organization. Ugh.

Hee. Feel free to GoogleRead as you wish; my LJ is mostly boring.

A while ago I made an entry on Twitter fiction, and it really does test your ability to be succinct. You might wanna give it a try. :)

Hey, thanks for answering my question, although I never knew you'd make an entire post about it! *is sheepish*

It does sound interesting. I may peruse it sometime to see what it's about. I'm not a writer (at least not professionally. I have written here and there for RP forums and such), but I can be a bit of an attention-whore... for better or for ill.
