Costuming help?

So, I have some tricky things for intercon. I need Germanic traveling clothes in a cross cast role, and a proper little girl from the 50s dress (or a hospital gown), and frontier women's clothes for Davy Crockett's wife. I think I can figure out the frontier stuff, probably, but not sure what to do to get the rest. Help?

I have this dress I wore for "The Stand" That you could either buy or borrow. (it is a little big in the bust on me, so I was looking to sell it anyways) You would need to borrow a hoop from someone to go with it, but you are about my height. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=887207118006&set=a.841612330326.2200527.34503403&type=3&theater I don't know if it is too "fancy" but I wore it to a frontier game and it worked well ( ... )

For the frontier outfit, I'm pretty sure I need something I could wrastle in. I'm playing this character: http://americanfolklore.net/folklore/2010/08/sally_ann_thunder_ann_whirlwin.html
Like I said, Davy Crockett's wife, who's an american Tall Tale.
But I think I know what I'm doing for that, I hope.

For Germanic, I was told "You wear drab Germanic traveling clothes: tunic, trousers, and cloak. (We will provide a book and quill for a prop if you wish.)"

Well, I also have a traditional "Prairie dress" but that doesn't seem like "wrastling" attire either. I'd suggest plain brown pants a coonskin cap (able to be found in costume stores) and maybe a leather jacket (preferably with fringe)

The "germanic" seems a little easier to do. Seems like traditional men's fen faire garb. You might have an easier time finding those. I'd start by asking any guys you know that have ren faire costumes.

Hmm, for the German traveling clothes, what if you got like a thrift store pair of pants and cut them into "knee britches," then wore them over stockings? With like, a vest, white button up, and cloak? Don't know how accurate that is, but that's what jumps into my mind. I have a vest I could theoretically lend you, but I fear my more modestly endowed chest size might mean it wouldn't fit...

Might I ask what your dress size is? Again depending on fit, I might have a dress I can lend you as well for the proper fifties girl.

The dress I was thinking of is the green one you can see in this entry here: http://breakinglight11.livejournal.com/556326.html

If you like it, I can see if I can try it on somebody around your size to see if it fits, and if so, I can bring it to Intercon.

That would be amazing. It's not quite right, really a bit older I think than my character, but I have no clue how to find anything better.
