Why must Twi-hards be so annoying?! Gah! I thought it was bad enough when Paris-wannabe's were running around but now this?

What has happened to my generation? I want to blast Pink's song 'Stupid Girls' in their faces every time I see teenagers squealing about the piece of crap that is Twilight.

I admit, with some healthy embarrassement, that I read and somewhat enjoyed the Twilight books. I mean COME ON, aside from the sugar...no, high fructose corn syrup candy addictiveness of it all, it was fun to make fun of! That said, I agree with everything in this post!

Now why don't we all just get back to the kinds of stories that teach young women to value love WITHOUT needing to choose a literally life-sucking boyfriend as the center of the universe.

I did find parts of the first book enjoyable enough but its seriously demented how girls are so obsessed with it, and that they aspire to be Bella and dream of finding Edward. :/

The more the twi-hards populate the more annoying it gets and any good will I had towards the books have long since dried up.
