An Angel Strike prologue

“This picture is worth a thousand trees.”
Gawd. How selfish can they get? Don’t they know what deforestation is doing to our country? That’s why it’s been getting so hot lately. Kame grimaced and glared at the 12-foot poster.

Stupid celebrities.

Stupid Akanishi Jin.

Kame stood and marched around the mall for the billionth time that week. He and his environmentalist group created a strike during said week. They hoped that their view of creating big ass posters of celebrities around the mall for mere advertisement was plain stupid.

“Kame! Let’s take a break. It’s Koki and Nakamaru’s turn!” Uchi exclaimed and hurried the other to enter the tent made up just to fit 4 people. Said boy nodded and turned toward the tent.
“Uchi. . . Do you think this is working? I mean we’ve been rallying here for about a week now and nothing’s changing. The mall isn’t doing anything.” Kame questioned and looked at the boy with a sad look. It wasn’t because he wanted to quit the rally. It was because of the others suffering of heat and lack of food and drink.

“I mean-

Uchi looked at him with a piercing glare and Kame smiled sheepishly at him. “Are you sure you’re not trying to revenge on Ryo just because his posters are all over the place? We both know that you can’t bear to-”

“No! I want to do this because of what’s happening to our world, Kame! I. . .never thought of doing that!” Uchi retorted but Kame knew better.

He knew his friend was still hurting.

And he’d always known all he can give him was a comforting pat. . . . and time.

Time to get over Ryo.

“Akanishi-san, Sorry for the inconvenience but, there seems to be a problem on the way to the mall. Seems like . . . there is a rally going on.” The driver announced and Jin couldn’t help but groan to that.

“I have an interview the next half hour. I need to get there now.” Jin reasoned to his managers and pleaded for them to let him walk instead.

“It’d only take 10 minutes for me to get there. I’ll use the short cuts and the less crowded places. I know this mall like the back of my hand!” he insisted, and the managers looked at each other for a few minutes and discussed whether to let the boy go.

He was indeed a huge celebrity.

He was Akanishi Jin.

“Fine. But be careful on the way out, you never kno- Akanishi!!” one of his managers called out. As soon as Jin heard the a-ok signal, he immediately slammed the door open and dashed toward his work.

“Be careful!” his manager warned and watched the other’s back size decrease from a distance.

“That Akanishi. . .something’s going to happen today.”

Kame walked around the small park behind the mall and laid tiredly on the green grass. It was a small park with few people, lush green trees and blooming colorful flowers. It was one of the reasons why Kame joined the rally in the first place.

He wanted places like this to bloom and expand more.

“Let’s just hope that Uchi will do something about his problem.” He whispered in the air and closed his eyes, letting fatigue and tiredness come over him.

I hope I don’t end up like Ryo and Uchi.

For a few minutes, the younger boy had the best sleep he ever had that week. It was peaceful, it was nice, and it was suddenly interrupted.

“Hey! Hey! Hey!”

Kame groaned and turned in his sleep. Thinking that it was his good friend, Uchi, who came to bother and wake him up. He groaned,  “I’m still sleepy. Here, why don’t you lie down too? It feel so good.”, with eyes closed and grabbed what he thought was the shoulder and pulled the other down with him.

The other boy stumbled down and ended up right next to Kame and his chest a little too close to Kame’s face. “Uwahh. . .You smell good today. What, you took a bath right after I left you?”

The smaller boy nuzzled in what he thought he was the crook of the other’s neck and took in the alluring and different scent of his friend. “You should take more showers, Uchi. I like this scent.”

The boy beneath him chuckled and Kame snickered in return. “Why are you being so stiff, Uchi? Your chest feels so broad for some reason.” Kame smiled some more and bit the boy’s neck. . . . . .. . .hard.

A girlish scream soon followed after and Kame laughed some more. “That’s being so mean to me this morning, Uchi.”

Kame gripped the other boy’s shirt and clutched it tight. “You smell so good. God, say something. I’ve been praising you all this time and you haven’t sa-

“I’m not Uchi but if you want me to be . . . I’d love to be him.” He heard and Kame smiled widely, slowly opening his eyes. “Of course you’re Uchi, if you-

What Kame didn’t know was, the next thing he was about to see was going to forever change his quiet life. “W-Who ar-

“I’m Akanishi Jin, babe. Nice to meet you too.” Jin said and flipped the other, making himself on top of Kame. Kame widened his eyes and quickly pushed the other.

“W-What were you trying to do?!!!! Why were you on- Where’s Uchi?!”

Jin smirked at him and dusted off the grass that sprawled on his pants. “There was no Uchi. It’s been me all the time.”

Kame looked at him shockingly and blushed. “W-Wha? W-Why didn’t you say anything?!”

Jin smirked some more and lifted his collar to reveal the proof. “I couldn’t. Your love bite was too good to be true. I wasn’t going to stop that.”

Kame’s blush took a shade deeper and he quickly covered his lips. “I-I didn’t mean that. I didn’t know it wasn’t my friend.”

“Well, I’m glad it was me. It was . . . yummy” Jin retorted and showed Kame what was now a pinkish red blotch on his porcelain like skin. “Wanna make more? I’d love to lend my-”

“NO!” Kame screamed and ran out of the park before the other could catch him and get a hold of him. He ran and ran and ran until he saw a face he thanked God was still there.

“Uchi!”

After the unplanned meeting with the younger boy, Jin went straight to his interview and sat at his assigned seat.

“Akanishi! Where were you?! You’re 40 minutes late! I thought-

“I’m sorry, everybody! I didn’t mean to be late for today. I met somebody!” Immediate shutters of cameras were taken, recordings were rolling and eyes were glued to the idol.

“Akanishi!” his managers exclaimed, their eyeballs popping out of their sockets. Jin was too precious to lose. “Shut u-

“Would you please elaborate, Akanishi-kun?” one of the reporters said. Akanishi smiled at them and held the microphone close.

“I met an angel.”
