You could tell it was only a dream. Even the news that the world was going to end next Friday wouldn't get more than a five minute slot on the Today programme. (Of which four minutes would be taken up with James Naughtie's long, rambling questions.)

I was quite surprised at the time - possibly that was what woke me up - but the link clearly said the item lasted nine point something minutes.
