FC Birthday again

I've checked the Freedom City mailing list, and it still isn't working. So as I did last year I'm planning to post my Blake's Seven piece for FC's birthday here, on the traditional date of the US holiday Labor Day. Aww that was lovely. I like to think that the judge was either sympathetic enough, or bored enough, to send Karat to one of the not too terrible penal colonies.

I don't think it would be particularly nice, but to be honest I don't think Karat's home world was particularly nice either. So as long as it wasn't particularly awful, I expect he'd accept it. He'd set great score by having a sky to look at.

I like your story very much. It says a lot about the system...and I can see a reflection of the source. It is definitely Tolstoyan. And - I am sure Gareth would like this too.

Thank you very much! A lot of details cropped up as I was writing - I thought "You swine, making him pay for a leg he lost on active service!" - but that's what the Federation would do, isn't it?
