I must get on and give you my account of last week's Peterloo commemoration, which was our biggest and best yet. We usually do a formal wreath-laying on August 16, and hold a rally on the Sunday, but as Sunday fell on the 16th this year it was a single event, and our new idea was "the Peterloo Picnic" - Peterloo as it should have been, a peaceful

Oh dear - so the year is over, it seems impossible that the Peterloo anniversary came againg.
But dear, this year the celebrations and all - it was fantastic, what an excellent organisation, really a very impressive event and what I personally love the best - it is never formal, people WANT to be there and participate and they give this great idea to the young generation so that Peterloo is never forgotten. And besides the serious note, you must have lots of fun.
Congratulations and many thanks to sharing!!!! I liked it very much and I am VERY IMPRESSED!!!

Do come! The main event will probably be on Sunday 14 August next year, though we still do the wreath-laying as a smaller event on the 16th.
