My birth day radio listings

People have been linking to a site giving entries from historical issues of the Radio Times, so that you can find out what was on the day you were born.

All the reports I've seen so far concentrated on what was on television when they were born, but as I'm addicted to Radio Four I naturally turned to its predecessor, the Home ServiceThis started ( Read more... )

Blimey, I had no idea the last episode of The Androids of Tara was on when I was born! I always thought Destiny of the Daleks was my birth story. Would they have repeated previous seasons before new ones aired back then, do you know??

Thanks for the link. I was fascinated by some of the programmes that were broadcast on my own birthday in 1948. Brian Johnston, as well as appearing on the Home Service on "In Town Tonight", could be found on TV:
