And today was the climax of this year's commemoration of the Peterloo Massacre. That was the best moment we've ever managed in remembering William Fildes - in the past, we've shared out the names for individuals to read, and tried asking children to read his name, but they're too shy. This child very sensibly tried to run away when we started reading the names - possibly he'd picked up more about what had happened to William than we thought - but in the end he played his role beautifully.
